Join the excitement as the Bermuda Track and Field Association presents its annual International Race Weekend, which amazingly just gets better each year. Runners from all over the world gather in Bermuda for this fun, challenging and exhilarating event. Beloved by islanders and visitors alike, the course may be demanding on the legs but is certainly easy on the eyes. Thanks to the tireless efforts of race director Anthony Raynor, Bermuda International Race Weekend is unsurpassed in its attention to details.

Among the weekend's exciting offerings for runners are the following events: the KPMG Bermuda Invitational Mile and Bermuda Challenge Mile, Front Street in Hamilton (Friday evening); the International 10K and10K Walk starting and finishing at the National Sports Centre (Saturday morning); Bermuda International Half Marathon and Marathon, starting and finishing on Front Street, Hamilton (Sunday morning). If you are having trouble deciding which events to participate in, or if you are merely interested in bragging rights, consider taking on the Bermuda Triangle Challenge--run three races in three days and receive an additional beautiful commemorative medal in addition to the medals for the individual events. The Races

KPMG Bermuda Invitational Mile
The weekend festival of running events gets underway on Friday January 14th with this exciting signature event. You won't want to miss the excitement and lively vibe on Front
Street in Hamilton that sets the tone for the entire race weekend. Bermudians are certainly dedicated to the sport of running, and you will feel their warm welcome everywhere. This is an invitation only event, in which the top twenty fastest runners in a series of trial events are invited to participate. Thousands of spectators will be on hand to witness top athletes compete in the races for Primary, Middle and Senior, Local Adult and International Elite runner divisions. Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants will also complete this one-mile race as part of the Bermuda Triangle Challenge series. These participants do not have to qualify for the event.

Bermuda International 10K Race and 10K Walk
The National Sports Center in Devonshire is the place to be Saturday morning, January 15th. This is one great race! The 10K is a scenic and challenging loop course offering magnificent vistas filled with hibiscus, oleander, palms and views of the beautiful turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Runners of every level can draw inspiration some of the best and brightest and most beautiful views that Bermuda has to offer. Enjoy the thrill as local Bermudians cheer the runners on from the start to the electrifying finish line on the Sports Centre track. This is the only event that takes place at the sports centre—all others start and end on Front Street in Hamilton. Challenging and fun, the course ends on a high note with one final hill climb. Be sure to save some energy for the end!
