5. Birding & Sustainable Farm Tour (FT-2) 7:00 am – 11:00 am Hogs, hens, native plants, and wild birds – you’ll find them all at Elsewhere Farm! Enjoy a hike along Horse Creek, past a beaver pond, and through a hayfield in search of bitterns, bobolinks, raptors, warblers, and other songbirds. On good migration days, this area is hopping with migrants! Finish with a tour of the orchard and learn how this Wild Farm Alliance demonstration site is creating habitat for birds and pollinators. After, stop by Bark Bay Slough SNA, bird the Lake Superior shore, or visit Herbster or Cornucopia for a delicious lunch. Optional: Meet at Elsewhere Farm, 16550 Nicoletti Road, Herbster, at 7:45am.
