Finding our Stride is a school-based running program in middle and elementary schools in the Upper Valley with a mission to build FITNESS, TEAMWORK & SELF-ESTEEM through running. We partner with schools that share our commitment to providing kids opportunity. We currently fund programs at NO COST to schools or families in 24 middle and elementary schools in Vermont and New Hampshire! End of season event with registration fees covered by FOS. No running experience necessary! FOS provides modest stipends, training and support for coaches, and team t-shirts.
Waiver Agreements Explained:
By registering for this program, I give permission for the Coaches of Finding Our Stride to provide first aid treatment to my child when necessary. In the event of a more serious injury or illness, I give permission for my child to be transported to a hospital or other emergency medical facility to receive treatment. I also authorize ambulance/rescue squad attendants to administer such treatment as is medically necessary. I also authorize licensed health practitioners working in the hospital or emergency medical facility to examine and provide medical treatment to my child if warranted. I understand that I will be contacted by the coaches of Finding Our Stride as soon as possible regarding any emergency involving my child.
The Children?s Fund of the Upper Valley, a donor-advised fund within the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, provides grant funding for schools and community organizations to create their own Finding Our Stride programs. These programs are created and administered by the school or community organization. By signing below and participating in this program, you acknowledge and agree that the Children?s Fund of the Upper Valley, including its agents, funding advisory committee, donors, and affiliates, is not responsible for any injury or damages sustained as a result of my child?s participation in a Finding Our Stride program.
By registering for this program, I also hereby grant coaches and affiliates of the Finding Our Stride program the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of my child in publications, promotional flyers, educational materials, derivative works, or for any other similar purpose without compensation to me.
