Students will build on skills learned in ARC Level 4.
Students must already be able to: - Swim underwater (3-5 body lengths) - Feet first surface dive - Survival swimming, 1 minute (deep water) - Front crawl and back crawl open turns - Tread water using two different kicks, 2 minutes - Breaststroke, butterfly, back crawl, and sidestroke, 15 yards each - Push off in streamline and flutter kick on back, 3-5 body lengths - Push off in streamline and dolphin kick on back, 3-5 body lengths - Elementary back and front crawl, 25 yards each
Children often require more than one session to master the skills needed to proceed to the next level.
