All families must abide by the following assigned drop off and pick up times as follows: 12:00-1:00PM and 5:15-5:30PM.
Registration Fee: A one-time registration fee in addition to the first month's payment will be due before the first day of programming. Payment information will be emailed to you. (Exception: Those applying for Financial Assistance or receiving Connections for Children/CalWorks should contact the office with regards to their payments).
CREST Club Camp provides supervision and support during the online school day beginning after the lunch time drop off period. At the conclusion of the distance learning day, staff members will provide enriching activities and organized structured recreation while making sure participants take restroom/hand washing breaks. Participants will practice social distancing during activities and will stay with their own cohort during their programming time. Program will operate indoors and outdoors in covered/shaded areas, fields and some indoor time. During inclement weather, heat advisories, or poor air quality days, the majority of the activities will be indoors. Participants must bring their own Chromebooks, Laptops or tablets, snacks and refillable water bottle daily. CREST Club is going to look different this year. We are taking our guidance from the CDC & LA County Public Health Guidelines for Camps, additional mandatory Safety Protocols and Procedures are being implemented in an effort to keep us all as safe as we can be during this time. CREST & the City of Santa Monica continue to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. We are here to help you get through this unprecedented public health emergency. ALL staff & participants will be pre-screened daily for temperature using infrared no-touch thermometer. Participants with a temperature of 100.4 or higher, or experiencing COVID related symptoms will not be allowed to attend CREST Club.
The following information is provided as a guideline and will be enforced: *Upon registering your child, parents/guardians will be e-mailed a detailed parent handbook; CREST Club Program Fee Agreement; Auto Billing form; Child Info Questionnaire; and instructions detailing what we touch on here. Hard copies will be made for those without e-mails on file. *You will be provided with instructions for drop-off and pick-up. *Your child’s temperature will be checked upon drop-off and during the day if needed via infra-red thermometer. Parents/guardians will be informed immediately if their child becomes ill or shows symptoms of being ill; child will be placed in isolation and the parent or emergency contact must come and pick-up their child within a two-hour time frame. *Each participant must bring their own face mask daily and wear comfortable closed toed shoes. *Social distancing measures will be implemented and enforced; participants will be placed in groups of no more than 12 campers to 1 adult. They will remain in that group for the entire month, ALL siblings will be grouped together. *Parents or visitors are not allowed in program areas.
