Harriet Alexander Nature Center • 2520 Dale Street North RosevilleMN  55113 Organized by Roseville Parks and Recreation

About this event

Nature Journaling Art Skills Workshop:

Drawing made easier for every skill level! Nature journaling is a fun tool for learning to recognize and identify native plant and animal species. Come learn clever sketching techniques that can increase your powers of observation and make your drawings more accurate. Gain confidence in your artistic abilities and create a beautiful collection of drawings by building on the instruction of scientific illustrator, Cora Hays. Basic materials will be provided, but you can also bring your own journal, sketchbook or drawing paper, a favorite pencil and/or eraser for your exploration and discovery through art. No previous art experience necessary: you can take any individual workshop or take them all. Weather permitting, workshops may include outside exploration, so please dress accordingly.

Adults and children need to be registered separately. Adults $48, each additional accompanying child age 8+ $7.
