Prince George Parks and Recreation is proud to partner with US Fish and Wildlife Services to offer programming at the James River National Wildlife Refuge in Prince George. Reserve your spot to paddle the tranquil waters along James River National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Join local naturalist on Powell Creek as they guide you through this wild and historically rich part of Prince George County. Canoeing/kayaking experience recommended. Participants must be over 12 years of age, anyone under 18 must participate with a parent or legal guardian. Boats and life jackets will be provided. Additional details provided upon registration. This free event is sponsored by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Prince George County Parks and Recreation Department.
