In this class dancers explore tap movement and fundamentals at their own pace. Dancers will explore traditional tap steps and rhythms and combine movement in center and across the floor. For dancers who wish to explore movement with less impact, they may perform movement seated. Adults are given the individual choice to perform in our semester performance the week of Nov 30.
Skills Learned: Tap steps and rhythms, body awareness, movement, physical strength, endurance and musicality
Supplies Needed: Dancewear or athletic wear is acceptable. Tap shoes are recommended.
