Description
The Parker Pioneers Inline Hockey Club is a competitive youth inline hockey team looking for intermediate to advanced skaters and goaltenders, ages 8-14. (If there is enough interest, we will expand to offering a 17U team)
Players signing up should have experience playing inline hockey and average to above average skating abilities for their age.
Coaches are looking for players who want to improve their skating, skills, and endurance while also increasing their gameplay and hockey IQ (awareness of the game, positioning, strategy, etc.). Our program is founded solidly on playing AS A TEAM. We are looking for kids who are coachable, respectful, hard-working, motivated to improve, and ready to take their game to the next level. Previous inline hockey experience required.
Weekly one-hour practices from January to mid-June.Monthly inter-squad scrimmages/gamesOpportunities to play in various in state tournamentsFocused and structured coaching at every practice, including goalie coaching& Additional team building activities, such as attending a PIHA game together, dryland practices as it gets warmer, etc.

Instructor Biography: This Program is run by fun, committed, knowledgeable coaches who have over 30 years of coaching, playing and officiating inline hockey, as well as ice hockey experience, playing, coaching and officiating at the highest levels.

IN ADDITION to registration costs, players must purchase annual insurance membership to USA Roller Hockey ($35 per player) AND a green Pioneers jersey ($38).
Moving forward, remember that insurance is an annual fee (Due in August every year) and jersey fees are a one-time fee.
PLEASE make sure you are choosing the correct size for their jersey! Jerseys are CUSTOM with last names and numbers and therefore cannot be refunded or easily switched.
AFTER REGISTERING THE FOLLOWING STEPS NEED TO BE TAKEN:1.Register your child as a player with USA Roller Hockey insurance. Be prepared to give the coaches your registration number on or before the first day. Your player will not be allowed on the rink if this is not completed.
2.Please make out a check to “Parker Pioneers Inline Hockey Club” for $38 for your player’s green jersey. Drop it off at the Fieldhouse ATTN: Emily Redgate or send it via mail toRuth Ferg22313 Quail Run WayParker, CO 801383. Jersey Checks MUST be in before December 15th we will place the first bulk order for jerseys shortly after that date. Turnaround time for jerseys is 4-6 weeks. I will place more orders for jerseys as more people sign up and get their checks in, please be aware that jersey orders are made in bulk to keep price low, and your order may be delayed as a result if done after the initial order.
Class Requirements: Previous Inline/ Ice Hockey Experience
Equipment: Inline skates, protective pads required for the sport of inline hockey, helmets with full face mask required.
