Whether you are taking Computer Science as an elective or have a strong interest in this field, this course is open to all BASIS students grades 7 - 9. Mr. Evans will create a fun and engaging learning experience while covering the following topics: Computers 101: What are the building blocks of modern-day computing? How did we get to where we are today? Internet 101: Basics of transferring the smallest forms of data. How does the internet work? Where did it come from? Intro to Javascript: Concepts and theories of the coding language Javascript. How to write the code 3D animation: Introduction to the software Blender, learning and understanding the interface Intro to Digital Art: Learning how to use Photoshop
