Barre encompasses adding pilates and dance movements to your workout to lift your body. This is done using a chair and a mat. Small weights are also added for muscle strength and endurance. The movements can be slow and controlled or fast and energetic. This workout will align your body and lift your muscles. Emphasis will be on your gluteal muscles. The workout will change weekly. Please bring a mat and light weights to class.
Please read carefully to make sure you are comfortable with the program structure prior to enrolling.
•Make sure you have your own personal mat and bring a towel & water.
•All activities instructed by Marisa Stipe may move to an online streaming Facebook LIVE format if any reason comes up that the class can’t be held “in-person”. If you were already enrolled in the Tuesday Facebook group from this past Winter/Spring, we will leave you in that FB group when registering for this Summer activity. If you did not participate in the Winter/Spring sessions, you will need to request to join the daily Facebook group via our FB page.
