Join Christina for 75 minutes of gentle yoga. Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer, working on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. Yang Yoga, in contrast, refers to a more active practice working on the (Yang) muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility.
This class starts with the stillness of yon to ease into your practice. We will then we move into slow flowing movements for the middle part of class to get the body warm and focus the mind. Finally we will move into restorative practice to find rest, digestion and deep relaxation.
This class is suitable for all levels.
Please bring your own yoga mat.No class May 24.
