About this event
Sewing is a very rewarding craft, hobby, and skill. This course is for the absolute beginner or for somebody who has dabbled and wants to take their craft to the next level. You will learn how to properly use a sewing machine and sewing tools, shop for fabric and supplies, read a sewing pattern, and complete handmade items. You will finish the course with four completed projects! Students will need a sewing machine that has either been recently serviced or is in good working order with all the necessary parts and accessories. A basic supply list will be sent out before the first session. A $20 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the first session for materials for the first project. Additional project materials will be discussed before each session and will need to be purchased before the next session.
