About this event
This class is for beginner levels up through advanced. Students will learn strategies, tactics, chess etiquette, and move onto higher-level skills, all of which are based on the Pawn to King Curriculum of the Kansas City Chess Club. Sessions will include a chess lesson, skill work, and an opportunity for practice play – a fun way to practice skills learned in the lessons and to prepare for tournament chess. Content is based on students' needs and skills may be presented in different ways throughout the year. There will be no class on 7/2/22.
