About this event
This intensive boot camp will allow students to complete the half of the beginner public speaking & debate course offered during the school year within a condensed time frame during the Summer. Topics will include an introduction to public speaking, verbal and nonverbal messages, and techniques of oral presentation and persuasion. Students will learn how to research, outline, and deliver short, formal, and informal presentations as well as longer speeches. Students will be expected to continue writing speeches at home in preparation for in-class delivery.
