Beginning painters learn about color theory, value mixing, blended and graded washes, and glazes. Paint your first watercolor by the fourth class and continue practicing your skills with simple observed still life set ups (in your home or in the classroom) after watching instructor demonstrations. Continuing painters work from an advanced syllabus with inspirational topics to paint, motivating discussion of artist’s imagery, and technique demonstrations.
