Description
This is a simple foundations course with step by step demonstrations, visual aids and discussions to improve eye-hand coordination and visual skills. Learn to draw with right brain techniques using contour drawing, value studies and practice with spatial relationships. Develop skills in composition with positive- negative space, balance and cropping. Great on its own or as a forerunner to beginning watercolor painting. Experienced painters will work from an advanced syllabus with slides, demos, and individual critiques. Special topics include high contrast, warm and cool color, and non-local color.
