This entry-level Tai Chi course teaches Standing Meditation (Zhan Zhuang), Qi Gong (The Eight Section Brocade), and basic Tai Chi movements to build muscle strength and balance, raise self-consciousness, and enhance the flow of energy. Certified through the Tai Chi Club in Shanghai, instructor Min Peng is excited to help students grow mindfulness and ease bodily tension. Classes take place in Larkin Park adjacent to the Joslyn Center. There will be no class on 4/7. Per LA County guidance, it is recommended that participants who are not fully vaccinated from COVID-19 wear a mask when distancing outdoors is difficult.
