How I got started in sports: I was a competitive swimmer for 13 years.

Favorite spot to be active: The Pacific Ocean

Life/sport philosophy: If youre not having fun, then its not worth it.

Athletic highlights: Placing in the top three twice in my age group at the Coeur d'Alene triathlon. Finishing eight marathons.

Athletic goals: To do the Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene.

Favorite fuel: Bagel and Snickers Marathon bar

Favorite indulgence: Ice cream

When I'm not running or cycling, I'm: Studying or diving to complete my divemaster course or encouraging my fiance, whos training to be a Navy Seal.

Other interesting facts: Ive traveled all over the world, including Fiji, South Korea, Belize, Egypt and much of Europe.
