Cardio Drumming - ONLINE

ON-LINE COURSE • Rec & Ed On-Line Course Ann ArborMI  48103 Organized by Ann Arbor Public School System

About this event

Description

Grades: 10th - Adult. Level 1 - 4. BRING THE 'VIRTUAL' FUN BACK INTO FITNESS! Enter a new dimension of fitness from the convenience of your own home through this virtual class! This new high/low energy workout will connect with your life's true rhythm through a combination of rhythmic drum music and movement. Drumsticks, your hands, a fitness ball, or a bucket are all you need to bring the fun back into fitness. Drumming is a great way to release stress and burn calories. You will find yourself dancing, singing, and grooving. Whether or not you have rhythm, you will find drumming is fun and easy to follow, plus you can work at your own pace! For this class, you need a large bucket or stability ball (to drum on), drumsticks (actual drumsticks, wooden spoons, a pool noodle that can be cut to create the drumsticks), and a chair. If you have any questions about what you need, your instructor will make sure you're set up before the class begins! Certified Drums Alive® Instructor: Geraldine (Jerry) Powell. 8 classes.

Please note, this is a virtual/online class that can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smart phone. To fully participate, you will need access to the Internet during the class time, and a built in camera/microphone on your device or a webcam if you'd like to communicate directly with the instructor.

**If you’re unable to attend a class, you can do a make-up in another class! Please contact mcneelyt@aaps.k12.mi.us - for details.**
