Grades 2nd-5th. Find out what nature has to offer in Ann Arbor’s beautiful winter wonderland! Professor Pollen will lead students on a walk through the Pioneer Woods, while discussing the diversity and importance of Michigan's wildlife and forest ecology. In addition to going on an exciting scavenger hunt, students will learn how to create and use a take-home, pocket-sized Nature Journal to observe, connect, and understand more about our natural world. Please wear a face mask and weather-appropriate clothing to each class. All AAPS students are welcome. Instructor: Professor Pollen from Nutty Scientists. 2 classes.
Wednesday, 12/9 and Thursday, 12/10 can be used as “rain/cold/snow date” make-ups, if needed.
