About this event
---Instructor: Frank Shutts--After a quick recap of Acting 1, Part 1, the class takes a quick glance into acting Shakespeare to build skills in working with text. Then it's onto the Fundamentals of Comedy (modern and classic) and comic monologues are assigned. Monologues are followed by assigned 10-minute comedies. In-class rehearsals then begin, leading up to main-stage performances on April 1st and 2nd for an invited audience. Once plays are assigned, the class will focus on the actual process of mounting a production. *Teacher's permission is required to take this class if you have not taken the Part 1 class. All students must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination to the instructor at the first class. Read the instructor's bio online at www.thelittletheatre.com. No Class on February 20.
