About this event
---Instructor: Sarah Holt--- If you want to act, you have to have at least one prepared monologue you can perform that shows off your type and range. Not every audition requires one, but tons do. Where do you find one? How do you know it's right for you? How many do you need and how long should they be? This workshop will give you some answers and get you started finding monologues that are perfect for you and not the same ones everyone else is doing (and directors see over and over!). Ideal for beginners dealing with "where do I begin" syndrome and more experienced actors looking for new ideas. IMPORTANT: You must bring a laptop or tablet or, in a pinch, use your phone so that you can conduct online research. Participants must be fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination required on or before the workshop. Masks are optional unless you are performing in an LTA production, or in a public area of the building when they are mandatory. For ages 18+. Read the instructor's bio at www.thelittletheatre.com/.
