This entirely indoor triathlon gives participants the chance to escape the New York City winter. The top finishers in each race will qualify to enter the Indoor Tri Championships at Asphalt Green on March 22nd. The race is broken into three segments, totaling 60 minutes of racing: 10 minutes in the pool, 30 minutes on a spin bike, and 20 minutes on a treadmill. Transition times are fixed between events and do not count toward participants' scores.

The race will begin with a 10-minute pool swim followed by a 30-minute bike and a 20-minute treadmill run. There will be 10 minutes allotted between the swim to bike transition and a 5-minute break between the bike and run. Performance will be measured by total distance covered.
