Taking place on the west coast of the Big Island (north of Kona), the Lavaman Keauhou has a 1,500-meter swim in the Pacific Ocean starting at Keauhou Bay, with water temperature around 80 degrees. The swim is followed by a 26.7-mile bike ride and a 10K run.
