Compression apparel is a constantly evolving category that has gained popularity among runners in recent years. The reasons for this are likely two-fold: many runners find these products to be fashionable workout wear and research has backed up the use of compression by athletes.

One recent study found that post-workout compression gear enhanced recovery by reducing muscle swelling and soreness.
