The Great Pumpkin Haul

Think you've got what it takes to run 2 miles through the forest, across a creek and over hay bails? Well then try doing it while holding a pumpkin. At this race, runners pick their own "orange running buddy" from Chatfield's Pumpkin Patch and attempt to cross the finish line with their pumpkin intact. Award categories include fastest pumpkin hauler, best costume, and the tough pumpkin award for the runner who hauls the heaviest pumpkin. After the race, make your way through the annual corn maze, and enjoy hot apple cider, beer and music.
Mud Mingle Halloween Mud Ball

The Mud Mingle Halloween Mud Ball isn't just a race; it's a raging Halloween party. Choose the 5K or 10K and race through mud and obstacles, but be on the lookout for the Mingle Staff who will soak participants with water guns. Hang out with other endurance enthusiasts and enjoy a live DJ, beverages, food and games. But the fun doesn't stop there, after every Mud Mingle there's a party at a nearby bar with free admission for event participants.

Run by the light of the moon at this 6-mile Halloween trail race. Participants can sign up as an individual runner or as a team of two. Costumes are optional but headlamps are required for all runners. After you've forged the trail, stick around for the post-race festivities, costume contest and awards ceremony.
Hallow's Eve 5K Run and Walk

Find a costume and grab the kids for this family-friendly event. Race proceeds benefit the A.M.S.I. Foundation, a nonprofit that awards higher-education scholarships to students in the Merrimack Valley area. After the 5K, watch the costume contest, take the kids trick-or-treating, and hang out at the post-race party.
5th Annual Florida Halloween Halfathon & 5K

Sign up for the half marathon or 5K and run or walk along the beach at Fort De Soto Park. Costumes aren't mandatory, but they're encouraged to make the event more fun and festive. All participants will receive Halloween starfish gold medals, and prizes will be awarded to age group winners and top male and female finishers.
