Gale Bernhardt: First Triathlon

Gale has coached athletes since 1974. She is certified as an Elite Coach by USA Cycling and a Level III Coach by USA Triathlon. She has served as the Chairperson for the National Coaching Committee for USA Triathlon for five consecutive years and is one of only a few, select USA Triathlon World Cup coaches. Gale also traveled to Athens, Greece as the 2004 USA Triathlon Olympic Coach for both the men's and women's teams. With the long list of pro athletes Gale has coached, getting these rookies in shape for their first triathlon will be a piece of cake. More »

Jenny Hadfield: First Marathon

Coach Jenny Hadfield earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and is a certified coach and personal trainer. She is also a bestselling author and columnist for a number of publications. Jenny began her running career struggling to get down the street. Step by step, she trained, raced and became a top-ranked endurance athlete. Her unique coaching style draws from her struggles to get started as well as her impressive racing experiences, which include over 35 marathons. More »

Dave Dunham: Rookie Runners

Dave Dunham has won marathons, ultra marathons, mountain races, trail races, road races of every distance and more. He is also the distance coach for the NH based Gate City Striders, a Silver Medalist at the World Mountain Running Championships, Olympic Trials qualifier in the Marathon, and has been an elite runner in a wide variety of races—every distance and every surface. He made the USA International Mountain Running Team seven times, and is a current manager of the team. Dave has won 356 out of 1037 races entered.

Farel Hruska, ACE, AFAA: Bye Bye Baby Weight

Farel has a passion for helping moms experience health and fitness. With over 16 years experience as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Farel is excited to bring her expertise to the Bye Bye Baby Weight team. She is the National Fitness Director for Stroller Strides holding certifications throughout the country and supporting hundreds of instructors nationwide. Farel specializes in pre/postnatal fitness education and helps moms all over the globe reach their goals.
