eteamz Community Re-Launch - Fall 2007
What Will Happen to the eteamz Community Features and Content? Over the next couple of months the eteamz boards, announcements, tournaments, etc. will be migrating to the new Active.com. The new community will include revamped tips and drills, including video, and features on sport topics such as recruiting, community stories, and sports psychology. NOTE: All past content you've posted on eteamz will be migrated to the new community. If you choose to participate before migration, please post up new content and not duplicates of what's already on eteamz. Why the Change? The new community brings together the best of the old Active and eteamz sites on an improved platform. For example, the new community provides staff (and moderators) with many more moderation tools and you with improved posting and notification features. Member feedback is why we've created the new Active.com. The new site is entirely about you. Whether finding things to do, checking out our articles and special sections, getting involved in the community, or taking advantage of one of our products, the choice is up to you. After years of reviewing feedback (focus groups, thousands of phone calls and email) and planning, we're now in beta. We've begun with our consumer Web properties, Active.com and eteamz.com. This is just the beginning and foundation. There are certainly going to be some oddities, bugs, and necessary updates when making such a major change to long trusted and utilized portals. We're here listening and acting on your behalf to make this the best experience possible for all members and visitors. We'll be making a lot of updates in the coming days, weeks and months. Things Not Moving
You will continue to access eteamz.com (with a new look) to create and administrate websites. eteamz Programs such as epointz and Spotlight Sites will also remain. If you have specific questions or concerns, please email us. Some Things to Get You Started Once you get familiar with the new site:
