The Delaware Running Club's premiere event is the Delaware Open Cross Country Championships. These races are held the Saturday morning after Thanksgiving at Brandywine Creek State Park. This event is arguably the most competitive open running event in the state of Delaware. Register on Active.com for $20 until November 24th. Day of registration starts at 9 am and is $25. The race will start at 10 am.
Net proceeds from this event fund our Best Foot Forward shoe program for deserving local high school runners. Please note that Brandywine Creek State Park has changed their “season”, and charges $4 DE resident / $8 non-resident per car admission to the park.
Event details and schedule
Race-day registration and packet pick-up will be at the picnic table pavilion by the main parking lot starting at 9am. Day of Registration is $25. There will be one race this year and it starts at 10 a.m. Part of the USATF Off-Road Running Series BCSP charges $4 in-state/$8 out per car entry fee
