A beginning Spanish class targeted to participants who enjoy embarking on new projects in their lives. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
1. Communicate in Spanish at an elementary level in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
2. Express appropriately at the elementary level of proficiency: greetings, asking for assistance, giving and receiving directions, use simple sentences.
3. Interact with peers in Spanish during class at the elementary level.
Materials needed: Electronic device to connect with Instructor, Rocio Torresano, via Zoom, notebook, English-Spanish dictionary, pen, label with participants name on your lapel so Instructor can see your name.
Note: Submitting a preferred email address at the time of registration is required to join the live Zoom session. You will receive an email with the link and passcode the day before the program starts. If you do not receive an email please reach out to karen.maxin@ montgomerycountymd.gov .
