Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
Do you have chronic discomfort in your neck, back, shoulders, hips or knees? Is the stress of the pandemic contributing to feelings of lethargy, anxiety or depression? Yoga can help with that!
Join Mark DeWhitt ERYT, CMT for a 1 hour information session on Zoom for new and level 1 students, where he'll share a brief interesting overview of yoga's history and guide you through a short 30 minute practice designed to strengthen your back and calm your nerves. No experience is necessary!
Mark DeWhitt has taught yoga for 17 years at studios and corporations throughout Los Angeles, and teaches 4 ongoing classes for the City of West Hollywood. As a Licensed Certified Massage Therapist, he also brings a depth of knowledge of anatomy to his transformative, detail- oriented classes.
What’s needed for the class:
Students are encouraged to have their own yoga or exercise mat, but for the intro, it's not mandatory
All classes will take place on Zoom. A computer and a secure internet connection will be required for all online classes.
