About this event

Description

This class is designed for adults who have a cello but have never taken lessons, for people who want to return and want a refresher, or for students in their first 6 months of study on cello.

The course will cover technique and mechanics, theory, ear training, building practice schedules, and has a performance at the end of the session. Students who complete this course are encouraged to join the Levine Adult String Ensemble in the spring!

Please note: Students must acquire their own instruments.

For more information, please contact Dr. Patrick LeStrange, Strings Department Chair, at (202) 686-8000 x1110 or PLeStrange@levinemusic.org.
