This small-group, socially-distanced, shortened summer program may not look like it did in past summers, due to current restrictions and COVID-19 Safety Guidelines, but we look forward to spending time outdoors on the farm together with our community of learners! Summer programs incorporate socially distanced games, farm walks, stories, projects, science experiments, music and movement. Youth will be immersed in this working farm and will interact with hens, fresh farm eggs, garden and grow their own food, bring fresh produce home that they grew themselves, learn about fiber producing rabbits, insects, plants, trees, soil health and SO MUCH MORE! Summer sessions will include harvesting in our Learning Garden, and youth participants will bring home produce for snacking and sharing, as well as recipes for some of our favorite Learning Garden snacks.
