The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of “competition”, without the pressure of a competitive race. At IRONKIDS it’s all about the community, fun and future!
Ages 0 year through 17 years can participate!
WE have four different run distances for the children.
Ages 0-2- Diaper Dot Dash which is a 26.2ft crawl
Ages 1-3: Toddler dot trot through 80ft of bublees
Ages 3-8: 1/2 mile
Ages 5-17: 1 mile
Run distances are based on the children’s age and interest.
Participants will receive a t-shirt, race bib, medal, goodie bag and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID!
**This event takes place one week before IRONMAN Texas**
We will also have a doggie dash event this year benefiting Operations Pets Alive. The festival will begin at 9:30am. The IRONKIDS event will start at 10:00am. The doggie dash begins at 11:30am.
