Join Ah Haa for a special tasting of 2022 Beaujolais Nouveau wines led by sommelier Chance Van Cleef. Produced strictly from red Gamay grapes grown in the Beaujolais region of Burgundy, France, Beaujolais Nouveau wines are released each year on the third Thursday in November. Harvested, processed and sold in the same year, the wine is fermented for only a few weeks, yielding a young “vin de primeur” that is typically bright and fruity with low tannins. Meant to be enjoyed within six months, Beaujolais Nouveau is popular during the holiday season as a celebratory wine that commemorates renewal and regeneration.
