10 days Plein Air Painting in Provence with award winning artists Marc Hanson and Dottie Leatherwood. Cost includes tuition, chateau accommodation, pick up and drop off in Avignon, all food and beverages including wine, except when dining out as a group. The accommodation for this trip is the beautiful château estate of the Moulin de la Roque located near St Rémy de Provence. The Art Engine and Workshops in France reserve the right to change the accommodation location due to unforeseen circumstances, but will always choose equivalent accommodation or better. Participants must be able to walk comfortably for a couple of hours, carry their own painting supplies and manage stairs without difficulty. Reservations Your reservation will be accepted by The Art Engine and Workshops in France upon receipt of this form and a deposit of $500 per person. The remaining balance is due by April 24, 2021. The workshop is catered, and you will have dinner at the chateau almost every evening. This will be a a French farm-house style meal, with wine of course. However, dining out during painting and sightseeing excursions is not included. We typically plan one group dinner and 1-3 lunches outside of the manor, each of which are at your own expense. Although encouraged, guests are not required to attend these meals and can make alternate plans. Day-time meals at restaurants typically cost around 18 - 25 Euros, or considerably less if bought in the bakery or market. Breakfast is available each morning, including an assortment of fresh breads, eggs, local cheeses, yogurts, coffee, tea and fruit. The fridge is always stocked with snacks and available for you to grab and go as needed. On days when we paint away from the chateau, you may make yourself a packed lunch to go or you can buy lunch out. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.
