Bundle up and get ready to race! The Chilly Willy 5K/10K/Half Marathon is the perfect way to kick off the new year with some frosty fun and a whole lot of miles. Whether you’re tackling the 5K, digging deep for the 10K, or braving the full Half Marathon, this winter-themed event brings runners together for a crisp, refreshing challenge that celebrates the season.
Every participant will earn a finisher medal, a well-deserved reward for braving the chill and crossing that finish line. We’ll also be presenting overall and age-group awards for each distance in the usual 5-year categories starting at 10 & under, giving runners of all ages a chance to shine.
We'll be starting at 8:30 am and running on the Sugar Hill Greenway.
It's wrapped in cool winter vibes, complete with themed swag, an energetic race atmosphere, and a finish-line experience that makes every shiver worth it. The event is designed for everyone—from first-time 5K walkers to seasoned half-marathoners looking to start the year strong.

Download your Custom Digital Bib! Hydrate and get ready to get moving!
Step 3
Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

Submit your results directly on RunSignUp.com through your Profile or registration.
You can submit your race time HERE on the Virtual Results page anytime until end of day 1/12/26.

Course & Timing
We'll be chip timing from start & finish (for all 3 races) so you're guaranteed a great net time.
Everyone runs the same course down Peachtree Industrial Blvd, through E.E. Robinson, and back. Note that there will be different turnaround points for the 5K & 10K.
*The half is a double loop.
Water Stations
We will have Self-Serve water stations approximately every 1.5 miles. If you are wanting to run fast and not stop, you might want to bring your own personal hydration.
Pacing
The longest distance will need to keep a 16 min/mile pace to finish before the course closes.

Event Courtesy & Refund PolicyOur events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be immediately disqualified, asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
