We're sorry, but this class is over. The last meeting was Monday, April 26, 2021.
The monthly class is designed to allow intermediate and advanced amateur players the opportunity to systematically explore string quartet repertoire.
Unless restricted by state or government restrictions, the class will be held using a hybrid model. The hybrid model means that class will be held virtually over Zoom for all to attend, but for those who are comfortable joining in person, they may attend the class live at Music Center.
Those attending in person will be required to complete health questionnaire and waivers, wear masks, and adhere to Music Center’s reentry protocols. For those who are unable to meet in-person, the usual virtual (Zoom) class option will continue to be the main method of class delivery.
Ms. Bollinger meets with the class on zoom or in person and will alternate playing the first and second violin or viola parts. Participants using Zoom will mute themselves and play along with the leader and those who are attending live. This allows the class members to play along with the other parts from the quartet and play with a better understanding of how to the individual parts fit together as an ensemble.
Not sure if this is for you? Speak to Ms. Bollinger or join us for a free virtual rehearsal to see for yourself! Contact the office for more information.
Current music for this session can be found on the repertoire page.
