About this event
This one-hour tour features the best of Dunstan Cemetery, including a rare metal grave “stone”! Dunstan Cemetery became Scarborough’s first public burial space in the 1870s. Local guide and historian, Ron Romano, will share compelling stories as the group stops at relevant graves and visits Paupers’ Field, which was the final resting place of dozens of the town’s disadvantaged people. ----> Note: Parking information will be provided. If extreme weather prevents the tour a rain date will be communicated. Please leave your pets at home.
