During these trying times and hectic holidays, we thought we would try a new more innovative and safe way of promoting our annual 5k!
You will have 3 days to complete the race in the convenience of your own neighborhood and crazy schedule!
We are happy to announce that we will be having a Food Drive from November 2nd – December 18th for St. Mary’s Food Bank and boxes will be located at Palm Ridge Recreation Center!
Please provide non-perishable foods to donate that have not expired.
If you would like to contribute monetary donations because you are not here in Sun City West,
then there will be a separate line to donate during your registration, if you desire!
Thank you for your continued support and please stay healthy and safe – and of course HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Virtual Challenge Information
We are doing a Virtual Run with a twist! If this is your first Virtual Run, it is simple - all you need to do is run anywhere in the world that you are. It could be around your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or even at another race/event you are already running. You must have the RunKeeper app downloaded before starting your virtual run.
But what is the twist? We are doing a "Competitive" Virtual Run. Along with our partners at Race Roster and RunKeeper App we have developed a way for you to accurately track your run and report your time. No more "trusting" that everyone is running the same distance - now it is done automatically. That means that we can give out awards with the confidence that everyone is playing by the same rules.
To be eligible for Age Group awards you will have to track your run using the RunKeeper app. You will receive an email on Monday, November 23rd with a link to use to track your run. Once you reach your distance your results/time will automatically be uploaded to our Results page!
You will have 3 days to complete your run (November 25th - 27th). Awards will be mailed out along with your shirt and medal the week of November 30th

Age Group Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female in each group. We use 5 year age spans. Our age groups are the following:
18-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 and over.
- Event managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.
Virtual packets will be mailed out the week of November 30th. They will include an event shirt, finisher's medal and age group award (if applicable).
