Out of an abundance of caution, the 36th Annual Athens Academy Spartan 5K and Spartan Sprint will be virtual.

Awards: Everyone will receive a medal.
Shirts and Medals: Short Sleeved Shirts and medals can either be given to the student in homerun, mailed or you can choose to forgo a shirt and medal and just submit a time.
5K Timing and Results: Results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com. Please DO NOT sumbit times for the fun Run.
Series Affiliation: The race is on the 2021 Black Bag Race Series.
Door Prizes: To be entered in a drawing for race prizes, share your race photos on Instagram/Facebook and be sure to tag Athens Academy and #SpartansRollWithIt. You can also email your photos to Spartan 5K chair Sarah Johnson at sarahsmithjohnson@gmail.com to be entered in the drawing. Raffle winners will be announced by February 20.
Other Info: In case of rain or snow, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
