We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Saturday, February 11, 2023.
What is the latest research conducted in our county? Find out from this trio of experts. The District is well known to have outside agencies and individuals to study various topics in regards to ecological research and monitoring. Each presenter will have 30mins to talk about their topic. Coffee will be available with some light snacks.
- Tom Simpson, Research Field Station Ecologist, McHenry County Conservation District, "Thirty Four years of Forest Change" both at Glacial Park and Marengo Ridge.
- Cindi Jablonski, Wildlife Ecologist, McHenry County Conservation District, "Our Altered Waterways."
- Anastasia Rahlin, Urban Biotic Assessment Manager & Ornithologist, , Illinois Natural History Survey, PhD Student at U of I, Marsh and Sedge Wrens Study.
