Deep Lanes: 1-9 • Lanes 1 & 9: 4’-7’ deep; both have ladder access. Lift chair access from Lane 9. Narrow lanes for head-up deep water walking or exercising (no lap swimming) • Lanes 2-8: 4’-7’ deep, for lap swimming or head-up deep water walking/exercising. Shallow Lanes: 10-15 • Lane 10: 4’deep, narrow lane for water walking and heads-up exercise only • Lane 11: 3’6’ - 4’ deep for water walking or lap swimming • Lane 12: 3’6’ deep for water walking or lap swimming; with Lift Chair access • Lane 13: 3’6’ deep for water walking or lap swimming; with ladder access on both sides • Lanes 14- 15: 3’-3’6” deep for water walking or lap swimming You can visit the Aquatics page for a map of both pools with designated lanes at http://www.ci.richmond.ca.us/421/Aquatics Please note the following times are reserved for disabled and elderly (D/E) (Everyone will be allowed to reserve the “D/E” sessions within 48 hours of the swim time, if they are not already filled by those who are elderly or disabled.): Monday through Saturday 12 - 1pm Sunday 2 - 3pm By registering for lane use, each patron agrees they have read, understand and will abide by the new operating policies and procedures below: • Only those with a reserved lane may enter the facility. No drop-ins allowed. No cash/payments or reservation/registration on site. • No un-registered visitors may enter the facility with a registered swimmer (exceptions will be made for those who require a caregiver-upon arrival each caregiver must sign a waiver, complete the health screening questions and provide contact information). • Those who cannot register online may contact the Registration office to make a curbside appointment to register, or may register over the phone (510)620-6793. • Pre-shower prior to arrival. • Use the Pool Maps under the Aquatics section of our homepage at www.richca-communityservices.org to determine which lane or section of the pool you prefer. There are maps for deep lanes and shallow lanes/sections. Each map indicates depth and any special features or access points. • Everyone must wear a face mask upon arrival until entering the water, and after getting out (bring a plastic Ziploc bag to keep mask dry at pool edge) • Patrons will wait outside in line, upon arrival, until called by staff (approximately 5 minutes before start time). Patrons will be checked in after answering Health Screening questions before coming into facility. Please take temperature before arrival. - Patrons must check temperature before arrival and not come if they have a fever or any symptoms related to COVID-19 virus - Staff will conduct a verbal health check of each patron before entry - Staff will check that each patron has registered and paid - Each patron will enter and exit the facility without using the locker rooms or showers - Please come prepared to swim (suit on under clothing) and leave without showering or using the locker room to change (these areas are off limits). Only toilets/sinks are available for use, if necessary. - All belongings must be placed in assigned spaces according to lane number • Each registered patron will have no more than 40 minutes in the water. Staff will do their best to allow patrons to enter the water as close to their start time as possible. • Regardless of the time entering the water, everyone is expected to exit the water and leave “on the 45” (for example 9:45, 10:45, etc.) so that staff can conduct the cleaning and disinfecting before the next group enters. Warnings will be given 10, then 5 minutes before departure time. • Avoid touching handles and surfaces. Walk straight through to pool deck, no stopping in locker rooms. • Records of attendance will be kept for the purpose of contact tracing, if needed. No visitors or non-registered patrons may enter the building. Please ask staff if you require a caregiver’s assistance. • Abide by ground and other markings for distancing and designated areas for belongings. • No shared equipment will be available for use (noodles, float belts, hand weights, kick-boards, etc.) Please bring your own pool equipment if needed. • By entering the facility, you must accept the inherent risk of contracting the COVID-19 Coronavirus, regardless of precautions taken by City of Richmond staff. • Enter and exit through designated doors. • One person per lane (swim in center of lane) • Adults only (ages 16+) during initial opening phase. • Refunds for missed or cancelled reservations are not available. • Anyone who does not comply with updated operating procedures will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return.
