Originating in India, this centuries old practice of exercise revitalizes both mind & body. Improve focus, release stress & tension while increasing strength, flexibility, balance, energy and overall well-being.
These live online Gentle classes for older adults both feature slow flowing, mindful movement, linked to the breath. Choose the one that better suits your needs and experience.
Gentle I: This class is better for those who are new to the practice of yoga within the last year, returning to the practice after a lengthy break, or who look for pose options for limited mobility or injury recovery. It features a slower pace, more detailed instruction about basic poses and more options to adjust poses for individual needs.
Pay What You Can
We understand that our activity fees may be a barrier to participation for some members of our community. If you are unable to pay the full fee amount, you may use the discount feature at check-out to pay what you can. You may use the discount feature multiple times.
Portland Parks & Recreation relies on customer activity fees to make public programs possible. If you have the financial means, please consider making a donation to PP&R’s “Community Access Fund” at check-out (see the “Donation” drop-down list.). This fund helps us serve those in need. Thank you for your support.
