Description
Design and produce individual works of art. Focus on weaving vocabulary and developing project ideas and interests through hands on experience. Pattern design and theory taught throughout. Historical and contemporary weaving practices discussed. Not for beginners.
Students must be able to warp a floor loom independently and read drafts. Students will design and produce more complex works. Students will be assigned a loom by their instructor at first class, based on class needs, student experience, and projects planned.
