Experience the classic sport of lawn bowling. Game play is equal regardless of age or gender. Discover the basic techniques and strategies, then build skill through hands-on coaching and games on the green. Lawn bowling is a dynamic outdoor game that can be an individual or team sport. Join in for gentle exercise and friendly competition in a relaxed social atmosphere.
Please wear tennis shoes and bring bottled water. Sunscreen and a brimmed hat is recommended.
Street parking is available near the tennis courts on the North side of Westmoreland park: 7550 SE 23rd Ave. Class is accessible from Max- Orange line: Bybee Blvd Station stop and Bus line 19: 23rd & Bybee stop. Access Lawn Bowling green via Tennis court parking lot, using crosswalk to walk south across 23rd Ave toward Lawn Bowling storage house and green.
