New spring four week skill development program focuses on foundational skating skills (forward and backward skating, stopping and edges) required to learn more complex skating skills. Learning outcomes include building confidence and competence, versus mastery and level placement.
Skaters will be divided into groups to practice skills in a fun and supportive program.

Important:

• Register for only one development program per set

Arrive:

• Approx. 20 min prior to class to acquire and put on equipment

Bring:

• Gloves and waterproof pants
• CSA approved helmet is required, bike helmets not made for ice
• Skate and helmet rental free with registered lesson

Helpful Tips:

• Allow adequate time prior to lessons to acquire and put on equipment
• Face cage highly encouraged if providing your own helmet
• Non plastic skates provide better learning
