Come spend your mornings learning the art of catch-and-release fishing on the Schuylkill River, with former TPS science teacher, Virginia! Campers will spend half the day along the river and the afternoon indoors doing science-related activities in the lab with TPS science teacher, Stasia. Learn about the anatomy of three major fish groups (jawless, bony, and cartilaginous) through close examination of the catfish, skate, perch, lamprey, and others. Campers will collect and graph data from daily catches and learn about the proper care and use of a fishing rod. Please note: No prior fishing experience or fishing equipment necessary. All materials are included in the cost of camp. There will be no camps running on Monday, July 5.
