Join PARPC Boys Basketball for a fun, active season focused on skill development, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship. Players will build basketball fundamentals while strengthening coordination, communication, problem-solving, and social skills through practices and games. All experience levels are welcome!

Event details and schedule

Stay active this winter with PARPC Basketball! Our recreational program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and a love of the game in a positive, fun environment. Players receive equal playing opportunities as they develop basketball skills and build friendships with their teammates.

Season: December–February
Preseason Practices: Begin the week of December 7
Games: January–February; approximately 7–8 games
Practices: Weekdays, generally once per week
Team T-shirt: Included with registration

Divisions: Teams are organized by grade, pending registration numbers. Divisions may include Grades 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, and 7–8.

Scheduling: Practice schedules are created after registration closes based on gym availability and the availability provided by families and coaches. Please carefully indicate all days your child is unavailable during registration.

Grades 3–8: Players are required to attend one assessment session to help PARPC create balanced teams. Assessment dates and times are available on the PARPC website.

Players should bring: A labeled basketball and water bottle. Basketball size is 27.5" for Grades 1–2 and 28.5" for Grades 3–8.

Registration Fee: $80 | Sibling: $75 | Non-PASD: $90
Register by October 16 to avoid the $20 late fee. Registration closes October 23. Late registrations cannot be accepted after teams are formed.
